Mind your Mind

MIND your MIND was founded on the idea that it is important to pay just as much attention to your mental health as to your physical health. To stay physically healthy, exercise is a regular part of many people's lives. To promote mental health, we must also incorporate a daily routine. Taking good care of yourself is important.

With the MIND your MIND campaign, the Mental Health Art Tour aims to create a positive, open, and safe association with the theme of “mental balance,” conveying that investing in health has a long-term effect.

CHARLOTTE LABEE

Discover the power of silence.

It is like a breath of fresh air for an overloaded mind, a moment of calm amidst the chaos. It is not

It is simple to learn this art of silence, because both brain and body are involved. The reaction is different for everyone; it can feel uncomfortable, but that is precisely where the transformation begins.

Machine

Our brain is a miraculous machine that constantly runs on overtime. Everything we experience, every sensation our senses pick up, every flash of sound or smell—it is all processed and stored. But what if that stream of information becomes too overwhelming? Our prefrontal cortex, the gatekeeper of our brain, becomes overloaded. More stimuli mean more pressure, allowing stress to easily take over. Meditation offers a way out of this overload of stimuli.

Body and brain

For Charlotte, mental health means much more than just the word mental, the mind, and the brain.

processes. For her, mental health is about flexibility, agility, and your awareness of your own processes as a human being. Only when you can truly view mental health as something much broader than the brain do you begin to see that the body also holds so much information for us. The body and the brain are only complete when you

fully understands my own system again as a human being.

Change

For Charlotte, that means mental health, because when you truly understand yourself and your processes as a person, then

You can also change yourself, look at the world differently, but also stand differently in the world. By doing so, you can bring about major changes in your internal world, for yourself, and thus also for the external world.

Spirituality

To stay mentally fit and balanced herself, Charlotte lives by all 7 Brain Balance pillars. She is particularly aware of her subconscious. The greater her awareness, the more she can live in alignment, and therefore she works extensively on the energetic aspect because everything is energy. As long as traumas and memories from the past remain stored as energy in the body and we do not work with them, you will never be able to be mentally fit or balanced. Furthermore, Charlotte engages with spirituality, which I find a fantastic subject. She also loves looking at family lines: what happened in the generations before me that influences my life.
