Mind your Mind

MIND your MIND was founded on the idea that it is important to pay just as much attention to your mental health as to your physical health. To stay physically healthy, exercise is a regular part of many people's lives. To promote mental health, we must also incorporate a daily routine. Taking good care of yourself is important.

With the MIND your MIND campaign, the Mental Health Art Tour aims to create a positive, open, and safe association with the theme of “mental balance,” conveying that investing in health has a long-term effect.

MARVY RIEDER

It is okay to be vulnerable and to ask for help.

Marvy Rieder, the visionary founder of the Model's Health Pledge Foundation, focuses on 'compassion' and 'authenticity' in all her activities. Self-knowledge and surrounding yourself with people who are smarter than yourself are

essential for making authentic decisions and achieving goals. Marvy's mental health ritual includes expressing gratitude daily and setting a positive intention when

Awaken. After all, you are what you think. Gratitude and positive intentions play an important role in daily life. By expressing them, you create happiness and positivity. By holding onto these positive habits, Marvy creates a foundation of calm and confidence to develop beautiful projects from that perspective. The Model's Health Pledge platform is committed to a safe and healthy working environment in the fashion industry. Their motto, "without ethics, there is no aesthetics," emphasizes the importance of health and well-being for fashion professionals.

Gratitude

In addition to her involvement with the foundation, Marvy holds various positions, including partner at the company GameChangers. Their mission is: "Making the world a little bit more beautiful." She also supports the Global Chair Holistic Wellbeing at G100, an organization focused on empowering women, and is a member of the

Advisory Board of Alles is Gezondheid and the Institute for Positive Health. For Marvy, mental health is of great personal importance because it forms the foundation for well-being and success in all aspects of her life. To stay mentally fit and balanced, she focuses on activities that gladden her spirit, such as meditation, yoga, expressing gratitude, and surrounding herself with positive people. Marvy also recognizes the role of physical fitness in her mental well-being and therefore ensures she gets plenty of exercise throughout the day.

Listen to your body

To manage stress, she uses techniques such as mindfulness, breathing exercises, and regular

physical exercise. Her advice to others is to learn to listen to their body and mind and to take time for self-care and relaxation. Last but not least, openly discuss the challenges you face, no matter how daunting that may seem at times. You will often find that someone else is struggling with more or less the same challenges.

It is then nice to share and look for solutions together, rather than being alone in this. In the past, Marvy enjoyed creative activities such as reading, drawing, painting, building with Lego, and being outdoors, where she briefly forgot the world and time. Artworks that make a strong impression on Marvy are often characterized by vibrant colors and a movement that stimulates her imagination.

Compassion

Works that radiate deep emotions and touch the soul do not leave her unmoved. The painting she saw in the Louvre last year is still etched in her memory. But a beautiful drawing by her daughter can also touch her deeply. For anyone currently experiencing challenges or feeling stuck, Marvy advises being open to help and support from others. It is important to share feelings and thoughts with trusted individuals or to seek professional help where necessary. Showing compassion for yourself and taking the time to recover and grow are essential. Remember that it is okay to be vulnerable and to ask for help.
