ABOUT
There are many people who have ended up in a stressful situation in one way or another. This can range from "not feeling comfortable in your own skin" to burnout, bore-out, divorce, anxiety, loneliness, trauma, grief processing, and relationship problems. More than 40 percent of the Dutch population have experienced mental health issues at some point.
We are particularly concerned about young people. The number of young people under the age of 30 who died by suicide was approximately 15 percent higher in 2021 than in previous years. One in seven young people suffers from depressive thoughts and one in three experiences pressure to perform. 75% of mental health problems develop before the age of 25.

FEEL WELL, DO WELL.
"Mental Health Art Tour" advocates for (or actually against) mental poverty. On the one hand, we want to break the taboo surrounding mental health by making it open for discussion, so that understanding is created for oneself and for one another. On the other hand, poverty and mental health problems literally reinforce each other. That is why we want to stand up for people living in poverty.
FEEL WELL
Under the motto 'paying attention to your mental health should become just as normal as brushing your teeth every day,' we encourage investing in me-time. To stay physically healthy, exercise is a regular part of many people's lives. For our mental health, we will also need to incorporate a daily routine. With a good lifestyle—in addition to preventing various diseases—significant health benefits can be achieved. Awareness and the transformation from illness and care to health and behavior are needed more than ever.
DO WELL
The proceeds from this project are used to fund a free, validated program for young people in need of mental support, and to enable the Mental Health ART tour of schools. In this way, we help these young people become more resilient. Through your partnership, you support not only your employees in the area of wellbeing but also young people who need support but cannot afford it.

The proceeds from this project will be used to add a limited edition of portraits of influencers to this exhibition. The aim is to tour schools to reach young people, who share their life lessons and struggles regarding mental health.
In addition, we go a step further and offer a free, validated training program to fund the costs of people who need mental support. In this way, HUSH HOUR helps these people become more resilient. Entrenched patterns are broken and transformed into healthy and effective routines.

"Totemly Me" advocates for (or actually against) mental poverty. We define the concept of “mental poverty” in two ways. On the one hand, we want to break the taboo surrounding mental health among employees of organizations by making it open for discussion, so that understanding is created for oneself and for one another. On the other hand, poverty and mental health problems literally reinforce each other. That is why we want to stand up for people living in poverty.

JANINE

TAMARA
Initiator & Partnerships
With HUSH HOUR, she wants to contribute to a more caring world; that is her passion, it gives her energy. She believes that if you “take good care” of yourself and each other, we are happier, healthier, and more resilient to stress. Ultimately, this allows for the creation of a caring society. Professionally, she has made a transition in recent years from commercial activity to social engagement. For this, she won the Meaningful Profit Award in 2011. For although her strength lies in persuading, connecting, activating, and inspiring organizations, applying her talents solely to commerce did not provide the satisfaction she sought.

IRENE
Art Work
Irene is a successful Dutch artist who has lived and worked in Bali for years, together with her two daughters. When people ask what the secret to her success is, she mentions meditation and visualization. She believes that we can attract anything into life, as long as we can dream, visualize, and feel it, as if it is already there, NOW in this moment. Additionally, she emphasizes that we must become aware of our thoughts.
Irene now sells her mixed media art worldwide and works with a number of galleries, including in New York, Singapore, London, Canada, and Amsterdam.
