Mind your Mind

MIND your MIND was founded on the idea that it is important to pay just as much attention to your mental health as to your physical health. To stay physically healthy, exercise is a regular part of many people's lives. To promote mental health, we must also incorporate a daily routine. Taking good care of yourself is important.

With the MIND your MIND campaign, the Mental Health Art Tour aims to create a positive, open, and safe association with the theme of “mental balance,” conveying that investing in health has a long-term effect.

JAMIE LEE

You create your own happiness.

Jamie has gone through a very difficult period herself and knows how hard it can be to recover from depression. However, many people do not dare to talk about this. This touches her deeply because she has experienced firsthand what it is like not to be happy and she knows how much pressure that puts on her and on the people around her. The idea for a book arose when Julie Vranckx contacted Jamie because she is open about mental health on social media. And so, things quickly started to move forward!

She finds dealing with stress challenging. Jamie can really stress out over the smallest things. Especially the evening before (film) shoots, she can come up with worst-case scenarios and worry about whether everything will go as planned. So, tips? Please don't ask her, haha.

She used to love everything related to playing, such as longboarding with her friends. She thought anything that allowed her to get away for a while was amazing! She also loved coloring, drawing, and going to the VKSJ (youth movement). She used to be absolutely no homebody, but now she is 100% a homebody.

Jamie's advice? Talk, reach out, and above all, don't be ashamed to talk about your problems. Above all, don't look up to people you see online, because often the picture isn't right. You don't have to change to fit in, you don't have to wear a specific outfit to fit in, you don't have to do anything at all as long as you don't want to. Choose your own path, choose your own friends, and communicate. Just be your authentic self and enjoy the little things, because happiness isn't for sale. You create your own happiness.
